How to use a chime candle

Chime candles are small, quick and inexpensive, which makes them a favorite for daily intentions.

1. Pick a color that matches your intention (see color meanings).
2. Set it in a chime holder on a heat-safe plate. Our cast-iron holders fit the standard half-inch base.
3. Say or write your intention. Some people dress the candle with a drop of oil or a pinch of herbs; keep loose herbs well away from the flame.
4. Let it burn while you are in the room. Most chime candles burn in about two hours.
5. Clear up once the wax is cool.
